Gelken bovine collagen is made from fresh cowhide, processed by high temperature sterilization, and combined with advanced extraction technology to separate high-quality proteins from the leather. After decolorization, deodorization, concentration, drying and crushing, the product with high peptide content is made.

Bovine collagen itself is a naturally occurring protein present in the connective tissue, bones, cartilage, and hides of cows. Typically the collagen supplements you see in stores are derived from cowhides. There are several types of collagen, each composed of different amino acids. Gelken can supply three kinds of bovine collagens,there are collagen A, B and C. The three specifications of collagen products correspond to different uses.
