Paintballs come in an unlimited array of colors including green, yellow, red, orange, white, pink, blue and any other color within the spectrum. The outer shill may have a different color than its liquid core.
If you want to shoot well, make sure your paintballs don’t hold you back. A good paintball will be perfectly round, have no visible line between the halves of the shell and be free of dimples or any misshaping. Warped, irregular or dimpled paint will wreak havoc on your accuracy, so to shoot well, you’ll probably have to pay for it. If your paint is too brittle it will break in your chamber or the barrel which will ruin your accuracy. Typically, the newer your paintballs, the better they perform.

Training paintballs are best suited for beginner. The cost is low and more affordable for the beginner and weekend player. This type of paintball paint is great for target practice or general play.They are commonly used at commercial fields and sold at sporting goods stores.  
 
Premium paintballs are designed for mid level player, or even the competitive player using them in non-competitive play.These paintballs are both durable and accurate and can be used in all types of paintball markers.
 
Tournament paintballs are made specifically for competitive play when every shot counts.These paintballs are also very accurate with no dimples or defects in shape that could affect accuracy and the cost is most expensive.
